Returns and Exchanges Policy

We really do hope you love your purchase as much as we do, but we understand that sometimes it just isn't right.  Our store policy for returns and exchanges has different criteria depending on how have made your purchase, which is in line with UK legislation.

Please read carefully the information in the tables below to follow the correct returns procedure. 

To complete your return, we will require your order confirmation or proof of purchase.

 

What if I have changed my mind?

If you are unhappy with the items that you have ordered, or you have chosen the wrong size, and you wish to return or exchange it, then you may cancel or change your order at any time from the moment you place your order online, and up to 14 days from the day you receive your goods.

If it's not quite right, we will accept returns within 14 days of purchase, for everything bought in store except for bikes.

Your item must be returned in new and unused condition, and with its original packaging in a saleable condition. Your return will  be issued

Once you have contacted us, you have 14 days from the point of contact to return your items.

Bells Bicycles does not accept returns on sale items.

Bells Bicycles does not accept returns on bikes sold in store.

Please note, the cost of shipping your order will be deducted from your final refund.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. If it was received with the manufacturers packaging (such as a helmet in its box) then it must be returned with this packaging in a saleable condition. 

Should you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration during transit, Bells Bicycles may charge you for the reduction in value. Bells Bicycles cannot not be held responsible for articles that are lost or damaged during return transport.

Should the product be returned damaged, due to improper packing by the purchaser, then Bells Bicycles reserves the right to refuse or to give a partial refund.

When returning your goods to us, you may ship the parcel with a carrier of your choice, or we can arrange a collection using our courier.

For collections where Bells Bicycles is not liable, the collection fee will be deducted from the final refund.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.

If a refund is approved, then your refund will be processed, and the funds will automatically be applied to the original method of payment, within five days. 

Please note: mobile devices and screens display colours differently. Bells Bicycles will refund an item if you feel the colour differs from that on the website listing, however we cannot offer a refund on the postage, and you will be responsible for returning the product at your own expense. 

 

What if my item is faulty, or you have not sent what I ordered?

Should you receive your order and it has presented a fault we will do everything in our power to resolve the issue and issue a repair or replacement.

If your item presents a fault, we will do everything in our power to resolve the issue and issue a repair or replacement.

If you are unsatisfied with the options presented then you may return the product within 30 days of receipt.

Please note this will be 30 days from the date the courier has delivered your parcel and will included any time the goods may have spent delivered to a neighbour or left in a safe place. 

If you are unsatisfied with the options presented then you may choose to return the product for a full refund within 30 days after purchase. 

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer, all goods must be returned to Bells Bicycles at the address listed below.

Your return will be issued via the method that payment was made.

 

Bell’s Bicycles will assume shipping costs for returns on items that are received defective or for goods sent in error. (E.G. The incorrect size has been sent)

For returned goods, once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received it. Your refund will be processed, and the funds will automatically be applied to the original method of payment, within five days. 

 

What if my order has been damaged in transit?

In the event that your order has arrived damaged in transit, please contact us as soon as possible here

To rectify the situation we will either send a replacement part, or where deemed necessary, collect the item and replace or refund.
There is only a small window of 3 days in which Bells Bicycles shipping partners will collect damaged parcels at no extra cost, and we kindly ask that you work with us in meeting this deadline.
When returning a faulty or damaged bike it must be packed up to be returned in the same condition it arrived so that it can be returned safely without incurring further damage.
