About Bell's

The Bell's Team is Meg, Lucy, Nigel, Katy, Colin and Matt. Our interests are diverse and our backgrounds equally so, but we are brought together by our shared love of cycling, engineering and design.

Meg founded Bell's in 2008 with the plan to source the most beautiful, easy to ride and simple to maintain bikes from around the world. Bell's was to be a bike shop for everyone.

Taking inspiration from her interest in classic bike design, art and engineering, she set out to create a space that incorporated all these elements. Fast forward and Bell's is an award winning independent bike shop and online retailer which contains an ever changing collection of bicycles and innovative accessories.

We believe that a bicycle is a work of art as well as a form of transport and each bike is carefully chosen for its function and form.

You can find us in the Old Town of Hastings in a panelled 18th century shop (originally the local greengrocers) A trip to Bell's can be combined with fish and chips and a cycle along the prom.
